Information
about graves

The ancient churchyard at St Bart's has been closed to new plots since 1900, and the only area which is currently in use is the Garden of Remembrance, where cremated remains are buried.

The adjacent cemetery is maintained by North Tyneside Council. You can visit their web page concerning births, marriages and deaths here. The cemetery is open throughout the day; please see the cemetery gates for more information.

A useful website for searching historic graves is findagrave.com. They have details of the gravestones within the church grounds, however, they do not indicate their exact location.
