Junior Church Trip to Tynemouth

About the event
Join us this August for a fun day out in Tynemouth! We’ll travel together by Metro and train from St Bartholomew’s to Tynemouth, where we’ll explore the priory ruins, Collingwood monument and the beaches.
It will be a great opportunity for our Junior Church children to learn, play, and spend time together.
Date: Tuesday 11th August 2026
Time: Drop the children off at church at 11am, and collect them again at 4pm.
Bring: Packed lunch, suitable clothes for the weather, and a water bottle. You can bring some spending money if you’d like.
Please wear suncream, and bring a hat if possible.
Cost: FREE. Travel and other costs paid for by the Church.
The trip will be led by our Junior Church team and volunteers, following our safeguarding policy and risk assessment.
Parents are not expected to attend. If you think you need to accompany your child please get in touch.
