About the event
Our next Spotlight evening will turn to the prayer book of Jesus, the apostles, and the Church through the ages: the Psalms.
We’ll explore why these ancient songs and poems still speak so powerfully today. How can the Psalms give voice to joy, grief, anger, trust, fear, repentance, and praise? Why have they been at the heart of Christian worship for centuries? And how might they help us pray when we do not quite know what to say?
Join us for an engaging evening of discussion, reflection, and insight, in the same open and informal style as our We Believe Lent course. Bring your curiosity and your questions, or send them to Fr Ben in advance.
